Lasers have become one of the preferred means of marking wire and cable because of their reliability, throughput and cleanliness.

A key aspect of Laser Marking is the absorption of the Laser Radiarion on the surface of the wire insulation that changes its color without any damage to the material.

LASER MARKING SPECIFICATIONS:

Processes Wire from 6 to 26 AWG.
Single Core Wires or Jacketed Multi Core Cables
Meets MIL-W-5088L (SAE-AS50881) and Boeing STD 5152
High Speed, up to 100 Feet Per Minute
Utalizes a Solid State 355 NM UV Laser System to Print on almost all Insulation Materials
NO INSULATION DAMAGE
Three (3) Font Sizes of Horizontal and Vertical Characters
Completely Microprocessor Controlled
Accomodates Wire/Cable: .025" to .250" or Larger
Accomodates both Round and Twisted Cable
High Contrast Marking that will not Wear Off!

Marks White or Colored Insulation Including PTFE (TEFLON), ETFE(TEFZEL), XLETFE and FEP.
